Miss Deepika
Miss Deepika.T hails from a family of musicians and music lovers. She started learning classical music from the tender age of 8. She also sings Carnatic and Hindustani Classical, Bollywood songs and English pop songs.
Deepika has completed her engineering in Electronics and Communication, and is presently working as a software engineer in a Reputed IT Company.

General Rules
- 1. Number of participants per team: 1 vocalist + 1 Instrumentalist (Optional). Both participants must be from the same college.
- 2. Spot registrations will be accepted at the registration desk on the day of the event.
- 3. Only one instrument is allowed on stage at any point in time.
- 4. The vocalist can choose to play the instrument himself/herself.
- 5. A 'Shruthi box' may be used by the participant and this will NOT be considered as an accompanying instrument
- 6. The keyboard can be played only in the piano mode.
- 7. Three teams are allowed per college.
Elimination Round
- 1. This will be a test of vocal ability — adherence to pitch, tempo and quality of voice. One song is to be presented.
- 2. Time limit is as per the discretion of the judge i.e. how long the judge requires to make a decision about the participant. The judge might ask for more spontaneous songs from the participants within the upper time limit of 3 minutes.
Final Round
- 1. The participant will be given a time limit of 6 minutes and there is no limit on the number of songs to be performed. This time includes the time it takes to set up any instruments.
- 2. Judging will be based on vocal abilities and overall stage presence.
