Ramaa Venugopalan

Ramaa Venugopalan is a trained professional Bharathanatyam dancer and teacher. Having begun her training at the early age of 6 and after her debut performance at the age of 12, Ramaa has spent the last 20 years learning, imbibing, internalizing and teaching this traditional art form.

She regularly performs for presitigious organizations and holds a Masters Degree in Bharathanatyam under the renowned scholar Dr. Padma Subrahamanyam on the Shastraic concepts related to this art form.

She runs Lakshmi Kalaalayam - where she imparts the art form to a very few keen aspirants.
