We, Team Unmaad 2012 will strive to make your short stay with us as pleasant and comfortable as we can. To enable us to assist you in the best possible manner, we will require a few preliminaries from your side.

Please ensure that you register your contingent with the registration link on this website as soon as possible. We might not be able to serve you in any manner in the absence of such a registration, leading to a situation where you may have to arrange for your own accommodation and food outside the campus, causing you a great deal of inconvenience.

Since our capacity is limited, the earlier you register for hospitality, the better it will be both for you and us to carry out the accommodation process smoothly. We may close the online registration tentatively a week before Unmaad if registrations overshoot our capacity.

The IIMB campus is located on the Bannerghatta Road, and is about 14 kilometers from Central Bangalore (also called Majestic or Gandhinagar) where the City Railway Station is located.

Landmarks: Apollo Hospital, Honeywell Office and Wockhardt Hospital are right opposite to the IIMB campus. The local people are generally not aware of IIMB, so please feel free to state these landmarks to them to make your life a little easier.

Bus facilities: If you wish to utilize the BMTC bus facilities, then you can board route numbers G4, 366, 365 which drop you off right in front of IIMB campus.

Auto & Taxi: The fare from the railway station will be about Rs. 120 for auto and Rs. 180 for a taxi till the Main Gate. A majority of the autos in Bangalore, unfortunately, have tampered meters and there is also a good chance that the auto drivers may take you for a ride, so do not believe the auto driver if he insists on the fare by meter. Fix the rate before boarding the auto. While you are travelling during the night, auto rickshaws charge 1.5 times the standard meter rate which is the norm. It will be good to take a prepaid auto.

Upon reaching the IIMB campus, please come straight to the hospitality desk where you will have to register yourself. The hospitality desk is located right outside the student mess, just before you enter the hostel area. Please look out for directions to the hospitality desk, which will be placed at appropriate locations on your way inside the campus.

Accommodation might be provided either inside or outside campus, depending on the availability of facilities and will be allocated strictly in the order of arrival and on completion of hospitality registration on campus. Charges for accommodation and mess facility will be collected depending on the number of days you wish to avail this facility. Please make note that you will be required to share the accommodation. Requests for individual rooms or any other pleas in this regard will not be entertained. 

The one-time accommodation fee per person is Rs.150. We will also be charging Rs.50 per person as caution money. The caution money is for the mattress, pillow, bed sheet, bucket and mug that we will be providing. It is the user's responsibility to keep these articles damage free. The return of caution money will be subject to the aforementioned condition and deductions might be made if the same is violated. Refund of the caution money is also subject to the condition that the caution money receipt (provided at the time of registration to the team) is produced. Loss of this receipt will automatically lead to the forfeiture of the caution money.

It is mandatory for you to register yourself at the Hospitality desk for food and accommodation. Event registrations however, will happen at the Event Registration desk located in the "L cluster". The Hospitality Desk, which will be located right outside the student mess will be always be manned by our volunteers. Please feel free to approach the volunteers at the hospitality desk for any assistance/ queries. They will either sort out your issues themselves or will redirect you to the appropriate personnel. The Hospitality desk will also host information like telephone numbers of cab facilities, nearest hospitals, hotels etc for your convenience.
