The Original JAM, with BBC | | |
The Original JAM with none other than Nicholas Parsons himself!
Started in 1967, Just A Minute is a BBC Radio show that has a simple aim: the panellist has to speak for a mere sixty seconds on a given topic "without hesitation, repetition or deviation". It is however, easier said than done.
The show has been chaired by Nicholas Parsons for the past 44 years and he is still going strong, featuring in every edition. Despite it being very demanding professionally, in his own words, Parsons says hosting the show is his favourite job. Since its inception, Parsons has recorded over 700 shows and yet, apart from getting funnier, there hasn't been any hint of hesitation, repetition or deviation in the show!
The only name that comes to mind when talking about Just a Minute: Nicholas Parsons, is coming to town for the Original JAM at Unmaad 2012.
