The fall term has always been a special one at IIM Bangalore. For this is when our student exchange program, one of the best in the country, begins in full swing. October, for us, is a time for making new friends, familiarizing distant cultures and teaching the correct pronunciation of 'Dhanyavaad' - to others.

Unmaad 2009 seeks to catch up on where we had left off last year and as always, promises to be much bigger than ever before. The Spirit of India meets the power of globalisation this October, and we would love to have you as a part of it. Join us as we explore the corners of the world within our 100 acres, participate in the workshops, live other lives at the stage performances and sing along at the Pro-Night under the open sky.

Do make it, for this month, you will see a festival that is truly globally represented : a county in Brussels, a district in Baltimore and a state in Bavaria - all at IIM Bangalore. During Unmaad 2009, while Bangalore might look like a microcosm of the world, the real truth is that - The World is Bangalore.
